To mobilize necessary support and inputs suitable to swiftly address the plight of victims during natural calamities and to undertake a participatory disaster management and rehabilitation programme which is of utility during, after and before disasters.

To develop better co-ordination and mutual collaborative relations with partners working for rural development, in order to promote rural development and welfare, which in turn will downside poverty, illiteracy, disease, and increase the provision of shelter and employment.

To jointly cooperate with interested public and private partners in scouting for financial and technical assistance from both public and private corporate sectors, local and international organisations geared at rural development programmes. To undertake an integrated programme which does not simply bear rural economic development, but a programme aim at rechanneling and amplifying the potentials of the rural economy that will ultimately draw the latter closer to global market.

To advocate information freedom, transparency and proper utility which does not undermine state sovereignty

To undertake all such other lawful activities as may be incidental or conducive or ancillary to the attainment of the objectives of the society.
