Quick Action Foundation organized a successful one-day medical camp at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Gokand, District Buner. Under the leadership of Roohi Ma’am, our team was able to provide essential healthcare services to the underserved community in the region. This initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of the local population, especially mothers and children who often face challenges in accessing quality medical care.
A Day of Impactful Care
The medical camp served over 600 patients, providing free consultations, treatments, and medications. The response from the community was overwhelming, highlighting the immense need for healthcare services in this area. With a dedicated team of seven doctors, including physicians and OB-GYN specialists, the camp was able to deliver comprehensive care that covered a wide range of health concerns.

Key Services Offered at the Medical Camp
Comprehensive Medical Consultations
Our qualified physicians and OB-GYN specialists offered expert diagnoses and tailored treatment plans to each patient. The consultations focused on a variety of health issues, with special attention given to maternal and child health.Free Medication Dispensary
We distributed essential medications worth hundreds of thousands of rupees to the patients at no cost. This initiative ensured that individuals who couldn’t afford medication received the treatment they needed to manage their health conditions effectively.Specialized Referrals
For cases requiring advanced diagnostic tests or specialized treatments, we provided seamless referrals to DHQ Daggar. This ensured that patients in need of further medical intervention were connected to the right resources for their care.
Impact on the Community
This one-day medical camp not only provided immediate healthcare relief but also raised awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and the need for accessible healthcare services in rural areas. Through our team’s efforts and the support of local volunteers, we were able to make a significant impact on the lives of over 600 individuals, providing them with the care and attention they deserve.
